Kenny Phillips, a GIA graduate, is a proud fourth-generation jeweler with over forty years of experience in the diamond and estate jewelry business.

Kenny’s boutique office in Austin, Texas, specializes in unique, new, pre-loved, and custom-designed jewelry. He works by appointment only to ensure a private, secure, and peaceful environment for his clients.

Beginnings

Kenny Phillips graduated from the Gemological Institute of America in New York City in 1980 and joined his family’s estate jewelry business in Miami. Under the guidance of his grandfather, Choo Choo Kaufman, and uncle, Donald Kaufman, he acquired valuable insights into the significance of cultivating client trust and delivering exceptional jewelry at competitive prices.

Business

In 1998, Kenny Phillips embarked on his entrepreneurial journey and established K. Phillips & Co., Inc., headquartered in Miami, Florida. Later, in 2008, he relocated to Austin, Texas, and founded KP Gems. He continues the family legacy by offering private clients exclusive access to rare gemstones, the finest jewelry, and personalized concierge services at wholesale-level prices from his boutique office in Austin (read more about the Boutique Experience here).
